Chiranjeev Kohli, Ph.D. is the founder principal of I.D.ENTITY and holds a doctorate in Marketing from Indiana University. His dissertation received honorable mention in the International Doctoral Dissertation Competition. He is Professor of Marketing at California State University Fullerton and was twice honored with the Business School’s Best Professor Award, and once by the University’s ASI. The Young Presidents Organization of Southern California recognized him for excellence in academia. Dr. Kohli’s research has been reported in leading academic journals and newspapers nationwide. National Public Radio has also done a segment on his work. He has been invited as a keynote speaker to several organizations, and has been nominated to the American Marketing Association’s National Speakers Directory. Dr. Kohli has offered educational seminars and workshops in several countries. A comedian by avocation, he won the Indiana University Comedy Competition and opened for Dennis Miller of Saturday Night Live!
Richard Lederer, Ph.D. works on naming projects, and is the best-selling author of Anguished English, Crazy English, and The Miracle of Language. He has been profiled in magazines such as New Yorker and People, and has made appearances on major programs including Larry King Radio, the Today Show, and CNN Prime Time. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and Reader’s Digest. Richard was elected Punster of the Year by the International Save the Pun Foundation and is currently vice president of the Society for the Preservation of English Language and Literature (SPELL). “A Way With Words,” his weekly program on San Diego Public Radio, celebrates (in his own words) that tremendous, stupendous, end-over-endous adventure we call language, and offers a fabulous confabulation about and open forum for all aspects of language – from puns to punctuation, from pronouns to pronunciation.
Dana Loewy, Ph.D. works on naming projects, and knows everything about everything. She holds a doctorate in English from University of Southern California and has taught Business Communication at the university level. She is an expert linguist in Czech, German, and English, and understands about a dozen Indo-European languages. Dana has received numerous awards and honors from professional and literary translators’ organizations. Her translations and articles have been published in book form, as well as in trade journals. She has also translated high profile movies such as City of Angels, Lethal Weapon, Message in a Bottle, 2001 Space Odyssey, The Pelican Brief, and Free Willy among others.
Todd Mayfield works on graphic design, and is an accomplished designer and specializes in brand identity, print collateral, signage, illustration, and display advertising. He has served as the Design Director for the Douglas Group in Washington DC, where he was involved with graphic design, environmental graphics, and interpretive displays for museums and exhibits. Prior to that, he provided print graphics, in-store promotions, and architectural signage for Ambrosi Associates in Chicago for three years. Todd graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1977 with a BFA in Design. His diverse talent and passion for excellence have earned him numerous design awards and profound respect among his clients and constituents.
Rajneesh Suri, Ph.D. is our pricing expert. He completed his doctoral studies from University of Illinois, Urbana Champagne. Prior to that worked in marketing with Subsequently, he was a pricing specialist with McKinsey and Company. He is currently a Professor of Marketing at LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. He has won several teaching and research awards and is a prolific researcher. His work has been published in leading academic journals, giving him a unique perspective as a practitioner and an academic.
Mayukh Dass, Ph.D. is our analytics expert. His expertise includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistics, and econometrics tools to solve challenges in dynamic economies. He is currently the J.B. Hoskins Professor of Marketing and an Associate Professor at the Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University. He also serves as the Director of the Rawls Business Leadership Program. During his tenure, he has won various awards, including President’s Excellence in Teaching Award, Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year, and the Chancellor Council’s Distinguished Research Award. He has also taught analytics and marketing courses at international schools including Indian School of Business and University College of Southeast Norway.
